Product Description
Archine Syntrend MWF-2900 metalworking lubricant is an anionic modified polyalkylene glycol which provides both hydrodynamic and extreme pressure lubrication. MWF-2900 is completely water soluble at ambient temperatures. At elevated temperatures it exhibits inverse solubility and is thus able to provide excellent lubricity at low concentrations in water. When MWF-2900 is compounded with alkanolamines, nonnitrite corrosion inhibitors, and biocides, synthetic coolants of exceptional performance and versatility can be produced. MWF-2900 is stable in hard water and is naturally low foaming. It is hydrolitically stable and resists bacterial attack.
Archine Syntrend MWF-2900 remains fluid to prevent the buildup of tacky or gummy residues. Unlike many synthetic extreme pressure additives, MWF-2900 is not selectively depleted from coolant systems. Thus, when used in a fully formulated product and properly maintained, MWF-2900 is capable of providing long-term, trouble-free service in recirculating central coolant systems.

Archine Synfluid HFC 32 contains an adequate amount of water to
prevent ignition that could occur in hydraulic systems operating under
high pressure through sudden line ruptures or fluid contact with a high
temperature source. This fluid includes additives that provide lubricity,
corrosion protection, and the overall performance demanded by today’s high performance hydraulic systems.
Archine Synfluid HFC 32 provides a high viscosity index, low pour point,
and excellent heat transfer and antifoam performance. These properties,
along with the addition of an antiwear component, provide extended pump life
in systems operating under high pressure or overloaded conditions.

Archine Syntrend MWF-34 is a polyalkylene glycol lubricant based product that provides excellent hydrodynamic and extreme pressure lubrication. Since MWF-34 is a complete lubricity package around which effective synthetic metalworking fluids can be formulated, it does not require the addition of lubricity modifiers, such as fatty acids, to be effective. MWF-34 exhibits inverse solubility and is thus able to provide hydrodynamic and extreme pressure lubrication at low concentrations in water. Heat generated at the point of cut causes MWF-34 to separate out of solution, forming a thin, concentrated film of lubricant on the tool and workpiece surfaces. This film provides excellent lubricity. MWF-34 contains no chlorine or sulfur based additives.
Archine Syntrend MWF-34 is designed to provide long-term, trouble-free service in recirculating central coolant systems. MWF-34 is stable and usable in hard water. It resists foaming and remains fluid to prevent the buildup of gummy or tacky residues.

Archine Syntrend MWF-34 contains amine functionality that contributes to the rust protection of cast
iron and steel. MWF-34 contributes respectable rust inhibition in hard waters. Like any system, however, it is more effective with soft or treated waters. Archine Syntrend MWF-34 should be combined with a supplemental nonnitrite corrosion inhibitor to develop maximum protection. MWF-34 is non- staining to common nonferrous metals and is suitable in lubricants intended for copper or aluminum alloys.
Environmental Acceptability
Archine Syntrend MWF-34 is not expected to contain sulfur, chlorine, inorganic phosphate, oil, or nitrites. However, since MWF-34 contains amine functionalities, it should not be used with nitrites.
