2.the grades and applications of paraffin wax as follows,

According to different refining levels paraffin wax can be divided into full-refined paraffin wax, semi refined paraffin wax, and crude paraffin. The first two are mainly used as component of food and other commodities (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper) and packaging materials, baking container’s coating materials, cosmetic raw materials, and for keeping fruit fresh, improving the rubber anti-aging and flexibility, electrical appliance components’ insulation, precision casting, etc. Paraffin wax also can be used for oxidation synthesis of fatty acid.


When adding polyolefin additives, paraffin’s melting point, adhesion and flexibility all increase then paraffin wax is widely used in producing moisture-proof and waterproof wrapping paper, cardboard, certain textiles’ surface coating and candles.

Semi Refined Paraffin Waxes (SRP Wax):
Paraffin waxes are separated from crude oil during the production of light (distillate) lubricating oils. The categorization of each wax corresponds to degree of wax refinement, and the various steps are as follows: slack wax, scale wax, semi refined paraffin wax, and finally fully refined paraffin wax. Semi refined paraffin waxes contain less than 1.5% oil compared to fully refined paraffin which typically contains less than 1% oil content. SRP waxes have water-like clarity (especially in thin films) and are odorless. SRP waxes have melting points spanning low, medium, and high temperatures. They consist predominantly of long straight chain hydrocarbons and are crystalline in structure, with molecular weights ranging from 360 to 420, with an average carbon content of 26 to 30 atoms. SRP waxes are inert, insoluble in water and alcohol, and only slightly soluble in absolute alcohol.

Paraffin wax is a soft wax that is mainly formed from paraffin oil .Since it is a soft kind of wax, it can be easily melted. A by product of petroleum is termed as basic paraffin wax. Some other things are also added in it namely palm oil and resins. It is used to make candles, adhesive and other procedures used in industries.

Paraffin wax is mostly found as a white, odorless, tasteless, waxy solid, with a typical melting point between about 47 degree and 64 degree
. In industrial applications, paraffin wax is often useful to modify the crystal properties of the paraffin wax, typically by adding branching to the existing carbon backbone chain. And paraffin wax also make kinds of candles.

1) Low

According to different refining levels paraffin wax can be divided into full-refined paraffin wax, semi refined paraffin wax, and crude paraffin. The first two are mainly used as component of food and other commodities (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper) and packaging materials, baking container’s coating materials, cosmetic raw materials, and for keeping fruit fresh, improving the rubber anti-aging and flexibility, electrical appliance components’ insulation, precision casting, etc. Paraffin wax also can be used for oxidation synthesis of fatty acid.

When adding polyolefin additives, paraffin’s melting point, adhesion and flexibility all increase then paraffin wax is widely used in producing moisture-proof and waterproof wrapping paper, cardboard, certain textiles’ surface coating and candles.

Paraffin wax is a soft wax that is mainly formed from paraffin oil .Since it is a soft kind of wax, it can be easily melted. A by product of petroleum is termed as basic paraffin wax. Some other things are also added in it namely palm oil and resins. It is used to make candles, adhesive and other procedures used in industries.
