Appearance
: slight yellow or white oily viscous liquid, soluble in benzene and ether, slightly soluble in alcohol and insoluble water.Applications: Slightly volatile, having high electrical resistance, mainly used as auxiliary plasticizer and flame retardant for PVC products. Widely used in cable compounds, floor sheets, calendered sheets, and shoes, and also used as the additives for rubber products, flame-retardant coatings, printing inks lubricating oils and so on.

Chlorinated Paraffin-52
1. Properties
white or light yellow ropy liquid, non-volatile and non-toxic; soluble in most organic solvents, insoluble in water and ethanol; will be decomposed at 120°C and release hydrogen chloride gas.
2. Production Process
After melting, chlorinating and deacidification of liquid paraffins, add appropriate heat stabilizers, mix then even and we get Chlorinated Paraffin-42.
3. Use
As aiding plasticizer of PVC; can improve the anti-aging property, mechanical strength and serviceability of products. It can be used in lubricating oils to decrease freezing point, enhance pressure resistance and the strength and anti-corrosion property of oil film; widely used in paints, emulsions, textiles, paper and canvas etc.


4. Packing
In dry, clean and stainless 200L galvanized iron drum, net wt. (200±0.5)kg.
5. Storage & Handling
Stored in draughty, cool and dry place, avoid solarization and rain; handle with care, prevent from collision.
6. Notes
When stored for a long time, the color of this product may turn darker.
7. Quality Index
In accordance with Industrial Standard HG2092-91 of PRC.
