The additive is mainly used in blending engine oil, turbine oil, gear oil and axle oil. It has excellent pour depressing effect, it can improve oil’s low temperature property obviously, so it is an idealism pour depressant for light lube, It is orange yellow transparent viscous liquid.
Poly-α-olefin is divided into 4 grades according to different oil and requirements.
A—used for de-waxed oil
B—lower viscosity and excellent anti shear property
C—better liquidity
D—lower viscosity and excellent anti shear property
